You will be pleased to know that using state of the art dial up equipment, PTCL has launched internet dialup services under the brand name of ‘Phone n Net’ all across Pakistan. This service is readily available on every PTCL telephone number and saves you the inconvenience of going out to purchase internet hours or scratch cards.
The charge for using the PTCL ‘Phone n Net’ dial up facility is 10 paisa per minute and will be billed in your monthly PTCL bill for the telephone number on which the facility is availed. Now the familiar PTCL phone bill will also be catering for your data requirements. This means
Your new service provider, PTCL, is planning to further add to the facilities offered on your PTCL phone line a single bill and a single point of interaction. These will include Voice, High speed data over Optic Fiber, Video and TV channels.
To shift your current Paknet dialup services to PTCL, you can start using the service by going to your dial up window and typing in the login as ptcl, password as ptcl and dial 13177777. Please note that the dial up service that you are currently using through Paknet will no longer be available from the 1st of December 2007.
However if you are a Paknet dial up scratch card user, then you will be able use Paknet’s scratch cards until the 31st of January 2008.
